Wooden glove mallet designed to help break in and maintain the pocket of baseball and softball gloves. The ball-shaped head simulates repeated catches, allowing the pocket to be worked without a throwing partner.
Use controlled taps to work the catching area and practise closing the glove around the rounded head. It is a convenient option for shaping the pocket at home between catch sessions. Work gradually and avoid heavy blows to the web, seams or lacing.
