Lightweight throat guard providing additional protection from foul tips and contact. Attaches to most traditional catcher’s and umpire masks while allowing unrestricted head movement.
This is an add-on component for a compatible mask. Check the attachment points and guard position together so it hangs correctly beneath the mask when you are in your normal stance.
Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions and check the fastenings as part of your regular equipment inspection.
