Collection: Baseball Bats

Buying a bat for a young player? Start here.
  1. Check the competition’s required certification. USA Baseball and BBCOR are different performance standards, not age or size labels. Ask the coach which stamp the competition accepts.
  2. Choose a manageable length and weight. Drop is weight in ounces minus length in inches: a 30-inch, 20-ounce bat is drop −10. A more negative drop is lighter at the same length. The player should be able to control the swing comfortably.
  3. Set your budget. Use Max price under More filters and sort Price: low to high. A higher price does not guarantee a better fit.
